A Lifelong Guardianship Ceremony is a newly introduced UK initiative that allows care-experienced adults to publicly recognise and celebrate the people who have stood by them through life. Launched in July 2026 by the UK Government alongside the charity Home for Good and various faith groups, it is designed to bridge the gap for individuals who leave the care system without traditional family networks.
