The Helena Kennedy Foundation (HKF) THINKBIG Care Leavers programme has secured funding to assist 10 care leavers currently studying in further education looking to attend higher education in Autumn 2012.
Participants will be offered support to find and apply for a place in higher education, including to navigate the UCAS application process and advice on accessing student support. Participants will also be supported during their studies through advice, training workshops focussed on personal and professional skills and a £1500 bursary.
The THINKBIG Care Leavers programme is open to students who are care leavers and who are entering their final year of further education this autumn and want to attend higher education in Autumn 2012.
