Delma Hughes, a care leaver and CLA member, is running a successful project dedicated to promoting positive contact between siblings who have been separated by care.

The project, ‘Siblings Together’, runs holiday camps for young people and aims to build the foundations for continuing contact and to educate a generation of social workers about the importance of sibling family contact.

The camps activities include a variety of outdoor activities including climbing, sailing, orienteering etc. All activities are run by staff who are fully qualified in their specialist areas and are all trained in essential first aid.
