The Care Leavers Associaiton has been awarded funding by the Department of Health to work with local Clinical Commissioning Groups to help improve health outcomes for care leavers. The basis of the project will be to take the experiences and views of care leavers about what issues have affected their health – looking at things that helped and those that didnt. We will use this informaiton to co-produce resources for commissioners and service providers that will attempt to improve services.

Here is the Department of Health project outline.icon DOH event poster CLA (2)

We are working with 12 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) across England:Tameside & Glossop, South Tees, Corby, Bedfordshire, Surrey, Thanet, Waltham Forest, Westminster, Merton, Sutton and West Berkshire

You don’t need to live in the areas that we are working in.

So if you currently live in one those of those ten areas please get in touch with Jakeb at the CLA
