On April 11 2010, Victoria, Will and Zachari will be hitting the pedals and riding from London to Norwich to raise money for the Care Leavers’ Association (CLA).
This is our second CLA Cycle Challenge to raise money for the organisation. We had planned to do this event in 2009 and we had to delay it due to personal circumstances, but we are now back on track and ready to go.
In 2008 we tackled the North West and this year we’ll be riding from central London around the East Anglian coast to Norwich. Along the way we’ll pass through Chelmsford, Ipswich and Colchester. We plan to try to meet up with care leavers in the towns that we stop at.
Thanks to everyone who has sponsored us so far. You have helped us to raise £295. Our target is to raise £1,000. If you haven’t already, please sponsor us now by visiting our Justgiving page:
If you know of anyone who might want to sponsor us, please pass on the link to our page.
All the money we raise will go to the CLA to support our work to provide services to care leavers and to campaign for a better deal for care leavers and young people in care now.
