On this page we are going to provide stories and histories by care leavers. Some of them will be very straightforward accounts of growing up in care. Others will be written differently. That is very much the case with our first story. This is written by a care leaver who just asked that the following message be included here:

true because i say so
true because i feel it so
true because it was my recall
true because it was my self
The very wicked girl has another true story to tell
true because the file says so
true because a social worker says so
True because of the laws
True because professionals do not lie?
