This not-to-be missed documentary about Neil Morrissey and his time in care will be shown shortly on BBC 2. The actor of “Men Behaving Badly” and “Bob the Builder” fame was 10 years old when he was placed in care. He looks back at his childhood in the hope of learning how his experience has affected him as an adult.
In the first episode of Care Home Kid, to be shown on Monday March 28th at 9pm, he looks back at his childhood at Penkhull Children’s Home, Stoke-on-Trent. In episode 2, on Thursday March 31st at 9pm, he explores what happens to young people when they leave care.
