On Wednesday 7th April, we will be holding a Keep In Touch event in Bradford.
This is a really informal gathering, which is open to all care leavers. It is a chance to meet up with others who grew up in care and also to find out more about the Care Leavers’ Association and the work that we do.
Jim Goddard, a member of the CLA Executive Committee will be running the event. Please feel free to bring a partner or a friend along with you, if you feel more comfortable that way. Otherwise it will be a meeting only for care leavers, run by care leavers.
Venue: The Hilton Hotel, Bradford. Time: 7.30 p.m. to 9/9.30. If you arrive early we’ll be having a coffee in the bar/cafe area so come and join us. If you arrive later we’ll be in the Lintondale Room on the sixth floor (just ask at Reception for directions). Free tea and coffee provided. The Hilton Hotel is just two minutes walk from Bradford Interchange rail and bus station. Just leave the station, head downhill past ‘The Queen’ pub and turn left on the corner and you’ll see the entrance (the back of City Hall is opposite; look for the massive clock tower).
