Care Leavers' Association

On Wednesday 28 October 2009, during National Care Leavers' Week, care leavers and looked after children in Cornwall will be running a conference to look at issues around leaving care.

The conference is supported by Cornwall County Council and will involve representatives from governments and voluntary organisations (including the Care Leavers' Association) alongside young people from care in Cornwall. The conference has been organised by former Care Leavers' Association Executive Committee Member David Wood and Jim Goddard, CLA Secretary, will be presenting the CLA's view of leaving care policy and practice.

The conference will be held at the New County Hall in Truro. Places are free.
